SMC recertified to ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System through 2009. Print E-mail

Recent onsite audits by S.G.S. Systems and Services Certifications (SGS) personnel have resulted in the continued certification of Seattle Manufacturing Corporation (SMC) to ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System through December 31, 2009. Meeting the rigorous standards necessary to achieve certification is proof to SMC’s customers of a commitment to the highest product and service quality standards while maintaining the relevance of their products in the constantly evolving world of work-safety and technical rescue.

SMC plans to co-host PMI Dealer Camp at the Firs Chalet in September Print E-mail

Seattle Manufacturing Corporation (SMC) will co-host a Dealer Camp conducted by their distributor Pigeon Mountain Industries (PMI) September 14-16 near the Mt. Baker Ski area at the Firs Chalet http://www.michigab.com/). PMI, the leading distributor of SMC products, uses the 3-day venue as a way to provide dealers with intensive hands-on product demonstrations and training. Designed to help dealers learn more about the equipment they sell to their customers while building strategic relationships, the event has grown in importance for both PMI and SMC in the past several years. Both companies credit the annual event as contributing to record growth in their collective sales in recent years.

This information is intended to serve as a clear and simple guide concerning what is acceptable and conversely, what is not acceptable when permanently marking by engraving into the surface of various types of hardware.
